Are you thinking of designing your own print on demand stationery? Looking to sell custom notebooks, journals and cards? Here are 17 sites to consider!
There’s a known obsession for cute stationeries and while we may have outgrew a lot of things, stationeries isn’t one of them. To compete against others in the market, suppliers have made notebooks, postcards and journals to be beautifully designed – even if the internal pages are just the same.
If you’re looking to design your own stationery or sell them as a business, you’re in luck! These items are not difficult to sell compared to other print on demand products.
In this article, I’ll be sharing 17 best sites you can use to print stationery online and the types of stationery they offer. To make things easier, I’ve also included list of ecommerce sites these fulfillments integrate with (if any) so you can start your business right away!

17 Print On Demand Stationery Fulfillment Sites
1. Printify
Not a lot POD sites offer journals for sellers to create but Printify has two types. You can choose to design spiral journals or a hard cover one. I personally prefer the former as it is more convenient to write on and easier to flip.
If you like the spiral journals, also consider creating spiral notebooks with Printify. They are quite the same but the notebooks come with a black back cover which makes stains less obvious.
Regardless which you decide to make, subscribe to Printify Premium to save 23% on product cost – I suggest doing so once you’ve made enough monthly profit to cover the subscription.
Types of stationery you can design:

2. Printful
While Printful may not have any journals you can design, they have spiral notebooks with a dotted line interior and more pages compared to Printify’s notebook. There are some drawbacks though – Printful’s notebook is a bit more expensive by about $6 (if you’re subscribed to Printify Premium) and the product cannot be delivered worldwide.
Aside from notebooks, kiss-cut stickers are among Printful’s best-selling products. They’re printed on high opacity film that is opaque and not see through. This gives a premium feel to it, making them perfect for gifting others or accessorizing your work station.
Here’s a sample of a holographic sticker I created on Printful using a design downloaded from Creative Fabrica. All I did was I chose the 5.5″ x 5.5″ sticker and uploaded my image. You can scale the image however you like to fit the sheet!

3. Zazzle
There’s a wide range of stationeries you can design on Zazzle including rubber stamps, invitations and even address labels. You can also make stationeries for weddings, parties, kids, business or personal use. Creating niched products is a good strategy especially for new sellers, as customers are more inclined to purchase these items for a certain special occasion.
Zazzle has more choices of notebooks compared to both Printify and Printful, including heart-shaped ones. As a seller, you can enable your customers to personalize their purchase with initials or names, as well as choose the type of paper design they want for the insides.
Depending on their preference, customers can select from seven page styles – graph, wide ruled, practice, lined, college ruled, bullet or checklist.

4. Gooten
If you’re a business looking to expand your printing operations, Gooten provides tailored B2B solutions to help you grow easily. Since Gooten works with multiple printing partners (similar to Printify), they’re also looking out for vendors with printing facilities – you can express your business interest here.
Aside from the usual products, you can design printed acrylic blocks with Gooten. They make an interesting décor for desks, offices or even the hallway of a home. The crystal photo blocks come in five sizes and able to stand on its own.

5. Redbubble
Stationeries are some of the best products to sell on Redbubble – especially when it comes to stickers and notebooks. With just a click of a button, you can also place the same designs on other items such as greeting cards, postcards and journals.
Aside from the usuals, you should also consider selling your designs on mouse pads and desk mats. Although they’re not replenishable products like notebooks, there are increasing demands as people are getting more creative with decorating their workspaces. My workspace theme changes from time to time and I would like a desk mat replacement too!
Just like notebooks, designing mouse pads or desk mats is pretty straightforward and super easy on Redbubble. Highly recommended for beginners!

6. Prodigi
Stationeries on Prodigi is quite similar to the ones seen on Gooten. However, they go further by labelling products to be eco-friendly and vegan. If you’re selling to an audience with these preferences, Prodigi can be a great partner for your business.
Though most may argue that postcards are obsolete, I believe that the younger generations will always find a way to appreciate older traditions. As a millennial myself, I find old postcards to be vintage and keep them as collections – much like photo albums.
Prodigi’s postcards are made with thick art paper using Giclée printing method. You can choose between a 280gsm gloss coated art paper or premium 324gsm Mohawk card. If you’re serious about making print on demand stationery with Prodigi, I highly suggest ordering their free paper samples – they ship for free!

Some of the most unique print on demand items I’ve seen is on Contrado. For stationery, you can choose from their range of pencil tins, pencil cases, pencil trays or even pen flashlights.
Prices may be on the higher side but Contrado is known for their premium quality. Some of their products such as rugs and blankets even have a 10-year printing guarantee. That goes to show that they take pride in their work!
Their vintage pencil tins come in three sizes and you can have your designs printed on the top cover. Aside from keeping stationery or pencils, it can be used to keep sewing materials, keys and jewelry.

If you’re looking for print on demand stationery fulfillment based in Canada, Art Of Where is one of your best bet. You can make stationery cards, notebooks and spiral notebooks with Art Of Where. Choose between plain, ruled, graph, or bullet interior pages for their notebooks then print them in both small and large sizes.
Small sized notebooks are best for travelling while larger ones are great to be used at your desk. Sellers are able to customize the first page of notebooks to include areas for customers’ personalization or make it unique by adding an extra piece of artwork.

9. CafePress
While Redbubble may not allow for personalization, few other POD marketplaces like Zazzle and CafePress stands out by offering these services. Based on my experience, people are more inclined to spend when they can customize some parts of the product.
On CafePress, sellers can choose to allow personalization for names and lines of wishes. Customers can also select the type of paper they prefer (see sample below) and purchase greeting cards as singles, pack of 10 or pack of 20. It’s a great way to earn more as an artist!

Loving the idea of selling greeting cards? You can save more on product cost by selling with Merchize. Products are shipped directly from Vietnam which makes it a lot cheaper to work with.
Merchize offers flat greeting cards as well as folded ones, from just $6.75 including shipping to the USA. You may find it hard to believe, but they will ship even if you’re ordering one unit – no MOQ! That’s the beauty of print on demand.
Flat cards are only printed on one side while folded ones are printed on both sides (front and back). Both product comes in two sizes. Quite similar to CafePress, you can sell Merchize’s cards in pack of 2, 3, 5, 10 or 20.

12. Printed Mint
While Printed Mint may have a great range of home products such as doormats and dog clothing, their choice of stationeries is quite limited.
Aside from mouse pads and desk mats, Printed Mint offers clipboards with full front and back printing. Price is slightly on the high side compared to other stationery products, but they are the only one selling the item. Your store may be unique for selling designed clipboards too!
Since Printed Mint is one of the suppliers on Printify, you can also get the same product from that site. You’ll enjoy a similar price if you’re subscribing to Printify Premium.

Not interested in pencil tins? You can design fabric zip pouches with Threadless! Designs will be printed on both sides of the pouch for maximum coverage.
Aside from keeping stationery, these pouches are easy to carry around when traveling and can be used to store all kinds of items. Customers can get the larger version (12.5″) for longer or larger stationeries. Though I don’t recommend washing due to the metal zip, the pouch is machine washable if stained.
Artists can also design other print on demand stationery such as journals, cards and notebooks.

14. Teespring (Spring)
I’ll be honest, there isn’t many stationery products you can sell with Teespring (Spring) as the site is mainly catered for creators aiming to create their own line of merchandise.
However, unlike others, their spiral notebooks come in 16 base colors where you can easily upload text or images to design both front and back covers. Selling at their recommended price of $18.99 will allow for profit of $4.99 per sale – an easy 26% profit!

15. Teelaunch
Looking to make hardcover and paperback journals? Teelaunch has both! Choose between two sizes then have them printed with lined paper and a matte laminate front/back cover. Hardcovers are best for stationary office use while paperbacks are a better option for school use or when traveling.
Other than journals, you can sell mousepads, folded cards and flat cards with Teelaunch. They may not have a lot of stationery to offer but has a few unique things including print on demand sports equipment.

Aside from Threadless, zipped pouches can also be found on Society6. The selling price is slightly more expensive but there’s an option for installments and customers can purchase a set of three pouch which includes all sizes (S, M & L).
