13 Best Print On Demand Socks Fulfillment
1. Printify
In all of my print on demand product guides, if Printify supplied the item, I would put it on the top of my list. There’s a couple of reasons why (you can find them here), but even for socks printing, they have few different products to offer.
Since Printify works with a long list of printing partners, it’s possible for them to provide you a better catalogue against others. Most POD socks company in this post only have one type of socks for you to sell – while Printify has four different kinds from four suppliers! It’s an easy way for you to diversify if one supplier is unable to fulfill.
If you didn’t know, it’s possible to sync products from different suppliers to the same store!
Here’s a sample of a pair of Printify socks I created using a design downloaded from Creative Fabrica. The seamless pattern design comes with a transparent background so I chose a black background color using Printify’s design tool.
You can design the right leg sock and left leg sock to be different and click on “All areas” to see an overview of the product design.
You can find a video review of an actual printed sock from Printify down below.
Types of socks offered:
- Sublimation socks
- Unisex socks
- DTG socks
- Crew socks
- Mid-length socks

2. Printful
The second best fulfillment for socks in this list is Printful. Although not as many products as Printify, Printful still has a few types of socks for you to choose from.
Their black foot sublimated socks can’t be found on any other sites and I think it’s pretty cool. Personally, I would definitely get a few pairs as they don’t get dirty easily compared to socks with a white base. Perfect for people who love going outdoors and going to school!
You can also find rating for thickness and softness of socks material on Printful’s product page.
Here’s a sample of a pair of embroidered socks I customized on Printful using a design (burger icon) I downloaded on Creative Fabrica. Usually you’re able to use ready clipart or quick designs directly from Printful’s library (see my other guides) but I’m unable to do it for embroidered socks.
The design will be printed on both socks (right and left) and not just on one piece. When uploading a colored design, the system will choose the closest thread color to use (maximum six colors) – sample in image above.

- Ankle socks
- Crew socks
- Black foot sublimated socks

3. Gooten
There’s only a single type of socks on Gooten but it comes with great quality printing. They assure that there won’t be any white lines in between yarns when the fabric stretches – a common issue for print on demand socks.
Socks are limited to one design per pair, meaning both sock will have the same design. Their socks are for unisex wear hence there’s only one size for selection.

4. Prodigi
If you’re looking for socks fulfillment within the UK, Prodigi is a great option to consider. They ship worldwide and offers wholesale prices for socks from £8.00. Prodigi’s socks are made of 100% polyester to ensure durability for lasting use compared to cotton ones (softer and stretches easily with time).
Their printing is much more vibrant as the socks are pretty flat, this also allows it to dry faster and keeps it moisture-free. All of Prodigi’s products are white-labelled just like Printify and Printful.

- Ankle socks
- Tube socks

5. Contrado
Another UK-based print on demand company you can source from is Contrado. Compared to Prodigi, their product prices are displayed in USD instead of GBP. This makes things slightly easier for almost everyone looking to sell!
Contrado’s prices are more expensive than others but it comes with great quality and assurance. This includes a two-year guarantee on the print and material! Unlike anyone else, the inner part of the sock is made of 100% cotton – super comfortable for your customers!
It’s pretty common for Contrado to provide printing quality guarantee for all their products including rugs and doormats.

- DTG socks

6. Bags Of Love
Contrado has another website with different branding to cater to UK’s local market, called Bags Of Love. If you’re looking for a print on demand socks UK-based company, BOL is a great option as almost everything is the same as Contrado, including the product selection.
Prices are displayed in GBP (British Pounds) on Bags Of Love so if you prefer doing business in that currency, you would like it better.
Similar to their parent company, Bags Of Love’s socks comes with 2-year print and material guarantee. You can also create designs for both inner and outer sock panels!

7. Society6
I think everything on Society6 is aesthetically-pleasing, including the socks down below. It’s a picture of a Chinese takeout if you’re confused (I was!). They have really nice mockups and a ready marketplace for you to sell on. You don’t need an Etsy store or a separate Shopify store to sell with Society6.
It’s also super convenient for both customers and sellers that Society6 allows for purchase of socks in one to three pairs at once (in one click!). It will definitely help improve your sales revenue.
The only downside of selling on Society6, as opposed to the popular Redbubble, is that commissions are fixed at 10% of every sale (excluding wall art). However, you can always diversify by selling on multiple print on demand marketplaces and reap benefits of each one.

8. Redbubble
The great thing about Redbubble is that almost everyone knows about it. I made my first POD sale on the site within a month of uploading my amateur designs from Canva. You can also find guidelines and tutorials like the one below easily on YouTube to help you out.
They entice customers to purchase more socks in one transaction by giving different discounts for more than two or three units. Quite comparable to Society6!
There’s only one type of socks and it only comes in one size fits all.
You can watch the video down below on how to upload your designs to Redbubble’s print on demand socks.

9. Teespring (Spring)
Are you an influencer or content creator with a great following on social media? Diversify your earnings by selling your own custom merchandise to fans and online audience.
Unlike most POD sites, Teespring (Spring) integrates primarily with social media and streaming applications – I’ve listed similar sites here. Wear your designed print on demand socks in videos or streams and sell them at the same time.
You can add different images and text to each sock via Teespring’s dashboard. Choose from 16 base color of socks you want to sell! This is a preview of the design when worn from the left side.

10. Merchize
Looking for cheap custom socks to print on? Merchize has an amazing product catalog with mostly all over print on demand items including pajamas, sports jerseys and dog clothing.
Orders are printed and shipped mostly from Vietnam where the company is based in, which makes the prices understandably cheap than others. A pair of printed socks is priced under $10 with free standard shipping to major countries!
Their socks are made of polyester, spandex and latex to keep your feet warm, dry and comfortable all day long. Great for office-wear or wearing to the park for a fashionable picnic.
If you’re searching for print on demand Christmas stockings, Merchize has a range for you to customize – including dog bone ones.

11. Inkthreadable
Aside from Bags Of Love, you can also source print on demand socks in the UK from Inkthreadable. Their socks are only available in white base color and one size fits all.
It’s great that Inkthreadable provides PSD file for you to get the accurate design print guidelines. Socks are quite confusing for newbies as they’re usually all-over-print and prints may not be displayed as expected when worn on feet.
The best way to ensure you’re doing it right is to use design templates if provided at product pages. Also it is usually preferred to use patterns or designs that are not dependent on exact positioning for socks.

- Ankle socks
- Mid-calf socks
- Unisex socks
- Female socks

12. Zazzle
Love selling on marketplaces like Redbubble? You should sell the same designs on Zazzle! There’s an additional feature for customers to personalize your ready designs to their liking e.g. adding their names or initials. This increases the chances of customers purchasing your socks to gift their loved ones.
Like most marketplaces, profit on sales isn’t too encouraging. However, there are a few ways to make extra money on Zazzle, this includes promoting your own designs with referral/affiliate links.
Even if you’re not planning to sell your designs, Zazzle is a great website for you to design custom socks online and order them for yourself.

13. Shirtee
Want to source print on demand socks from other parts of Europe? Shirtee is a reliable POD site you can look into. Although there’s only one type of socks, they have a good selection of apparel products including jerseys and hoodies.
It’s good to not restrict yourself from selling other types of products. By recycling your current designs on other apparel products, you will add another source of revenue to your business. The key is to not over-diversify!
Shirtee’s socks are made of 60% cotton to prevent feet from overheating – great to be worn outdoors during warmer seasons and indoors when it’s colder outside. It’s called “logo socks” as printing can only be done on one side of the sock and for a small area (not all-over-print) – see video here.

9 Things To Know About POD Socks
- Some of the socks have black colored toe and heel areas – usually thicker than other parts with knitting for extra cushioning in the sole
- These socks look good even when stretched as the print ink is supposed to penetrate the yarn (watch first video above)
- Socks are machine washable – for longer use, avoid using fabric softener
- Most socks are made of recycled polyester and are eco-friendly (please be sure to check)
- If it’s mixed with cotton, it’s even more stretchy and comfortable
- Unless stated or meant for kids, socks are one size fits most and unisex
- Even if it’s print on demand, suppliers won’t sell single replacement socks
- Some POD sites above sells socks in one, two or three pair sets for higher sales
- It’s common for socks to shrink back down to their stated size after a couple of washes – they’re made larger in the beginning
Bottom Line
Unsure which POD site to join to design printed socks? It’s always best to stick to a fulfillment company that offers a lot of products and integrates with popular ecommerce platforms like Etsy, Shopify and WooCommerce.
You wouldn’t want to make big changes once you’re in the business! So it’s always great to choose the right one from the start – preferably ones that offer the best quality custom socks.
I’ll always recommend Printify as there’s plenty of resources online to help you out – starting an online business can be pretty lonely and you would always need some help. Aside from that, Printful and Contrado are some great alternatives, thanks to their product choices!
