Calendars are the kind of products you sell few months in a year and get little-to-no sales for the next nine months. Regardless, there’s a lot of money to be made especially if stationery or paper products is the focus of your store.
Even if you’re selling something totally different, it’s always nice to design your own calendars for your own use and/or sell it as a brand merchandise.

15 Best Print On Demand Calendars
1. Printify
In almost all of my articles, Printify is number one on the list. It’s not just because I love their reasonable prices, it’s also because they have a wide range of products you can sell!
Calendars are pretty rare products to find with white label print on demand companies. The ones to offer either has a good catalog to begin with or focuses largely on custom printing for paper merchandise products.
Printify has a few types of calendars you can sell including different types of desk and wall ones. If you’re looking for something more aesthetic for modern settings, consider ordering their vertical desk calendars.
The vertical desk calendars are great eco-friendly POD product options as it is made using FSC® certified 100% eco paper that is also museum grade. Your designs will be printed on 12 pieces of paper in pigmented archival inks for a vibrant look.

Here’s a sample of Printify’s vertical desk calendar I created using a design I downloaded on Creative Fabrica. I cropped the image and centered it to fit the box using Printify’s cropping tool. You can add different images for each month and see the overview by clicking on “all areas”.

2. Gelato
If you’re into selling paper products like brochures, photo books and greeting cards, you should consider using Gelato. Similar to Printify, Gelato fulfills their orders in multiple printing locations all over the world and they make it possible for you to see this info when browsing their catalog.
There’s only a single type of calendar you can sell with Gelato. When going through their catalog, you’ll see two options but it’s actually the same product. They made two options for you to choose based on the audience you’re selling to or the delivery address.
The option on the right is only made available for orders to the US and Canada, while the one on the left can be shipped to other parts of the world – refer image below.
Gelato’s wall calendars are printed on both sides of the paper and it includes printing on the front/back cover page. You’ll need to flip the calendar every month and turn it to face the other side.

Types of calendars you can design:

3. Gooten
Only interested in selling wall calendars? Another site you can check out is Gooten. There’s quite a selection of products you can sell including apparels and home decor.
The only setback is that you’ll need to be an experienced print on demand seller with an existing store to be selling with Gooten. When signing up for an account, they require you to state details of your experience for them to approve the opening of your account.
Gooten’s wall calendars are quite similar to the ones offered on Gelato. However, it’s printed only on one side of the paper and you have an extra page to customize as it includes a page for the following January (after the first year).
There are also multiple ready-made design templates for you to choose from so your calendars don’t look all the same on the inside. Each blank page can be customized to your liking and don’t need to follow the same style.

4. CafePress
If you don’t have an existing print on demand store and unsure about setting one up, you can sell custom designed calendars on POD marketplaces instead. One that lets you design calendars is CafePress!
Although you can’t customize a lot, it’s still worthwhile to sell calendars on the marketplace. You can upload a main image for the front cover of the calendar and different designs for each month. Pretty good for a marketplace if you ask me!
Designs on CafePress are pretty outdated but the site has been around for a long time. Their calendars are much bigger than the ones sold on Gooten so it’s a good option for the elderly or those who love writing on their calendars.

5. Peecho
Looking for a print on demand company that’s based in Europe? You should check out Peecho’s selection of wall and desk calendars that are available in A4 and A5 sizing.
Even though they’re based in Europe, Peecho ships orders worldwide by choosing a printer that is nearest to the delivery address. Most global print companies do this as it ensures fast delivery times and reasonable shipping charges.
Product choices on Peecho are very limited to only paper products but it’s a good option for artists and photographers that are looking to earn side income with their artwork or photos. Photographers can earn with print on demand by selling their beautiful photography on merchandise like magazines, canvas art, books and even gallery prints.
These are all available on Peecho!

6. VistaPrint
If you’re planning to order custom calendars for your company or brand and looking to order in large quantities, I recommend going with VistaPrint. They offer tiered bulk discounts on bulk orders from 17% and up to 70% depending on the type of calendar you’re going for.
With VistaPrint, you can design four types of calendars (refer image below). Aside from the usual wall and desk calendars, VistaPrint offers magnetic and poster calendars where the entire year calendar is displayed on a single page/cover.
While poster calendars are available in portrait orientation only, the magnetic ones can be printed horizontally or vertically. You can also choose the thickness level between standard or premium where the difference in price is $1.00 per unit.
Each calendar also comes with ready design templates for you to customize if you don’t have a design of your own. The magnetic calendars have 20 varying ready-to-go templates with different color options!

Need more than 500 units of custom calendars? Check out GotPrint! I’ve not included it in this list as it caters to large orders only with high minimum ordering quantity (MOQ). You can get a free sample kit containing most of their paper products for free if your address is in the USA.

For calendars, Cloudprinter lets you choose between one sided or double sided printing. You can also select type of binding (wire-o or saddle stitched) and orientation for your designs (landscape, portrait, square).
Although prices are stated in Euros, they ship worldwide and work with multiple printing facilities globally. For ease of design, Cloudprinter provides templates (Adobe Illustrator and PDF) for each type of calendar (US and International) so you can download them.

8. Zazzle
Aside from CafePress, Zazzle is a marketplace you should join if you want to design an assortment of products and sell to a ready audience.
Zazzle offers customizable calendars that are not as straightforward as CafePress’. Your customers will be happy as they can customize calendar start dates (up to 14 years from now), calendar months (1-24), cultures according to their countries and holiday dates (US only).
They can also pick the size of the calendar (S-L), printing layout, wire binding colors, grid transparency and grid style. Some calendars may even let customers add text and upload their own images for every month.
The only thing you need to do is to upload your photos and ensure it’s optimized for the product. Zazzle would automatically alter the other elements of the calendar according to your customer’s preference – no extra work by you.

Here’s a sample of Zazzle’s calendars I personalized according to my preference and included my website’s name to it. Pretty cool no?

9. Print Pigeons
Print Pigeons is one of the fulfillments available on Printify and the supplier for Printify’s vertical desk calendars as I’ve shown above. In some cases, not all products sold by a fulfillment are listed on Printify’s catalog so you’ll have to source it directly from their site.
Although Printify makes it easy for print on demand sellers to source all their products from a single platform, it can sometimes be cheaper to buy them directly from the printing company (putting aside Printify Premium subscription). Do your due diligence before deciding!
Just like what’s listed on Printify, Print Pigeons offer both wall and desk calendars that are printed using FSC® certified 100% eco paper. Their wall calendars are much larger than others as they print it in A3 size and you can only design it to be vertical.

Types of calendars you can design:
- A3 wall calendars
- Horizontal desk calendars
- Vertical desk calendars

10. Bags Of Love
If you want to source custom calendars from a UK-based print on demand company, Bags Of Love is for you. You get to pay for products in GBP (British Pounds) and enjoy fast shipping within the UK – plus some items may even be printed and ready on the same day!
BOL is usually slightly pricey but for calendars, it’s priced quite reasonably. Their A3/A4 photo calendars are shipped on the same day and you can purchase three units for the price of two.
They also offer smaller calendars in size A5 and A6 that are suitable for smaller desks – plus these are packed in two and four, respectively. You can gift them to your loved ones for the new year!
With BOL, you can upload single images to every page or use their ready photo collage templates to have multiple pictures printed for each month. There’s options to add text, select date grid design and pick background colors.

Types of calendars you can design:
- A3 photo calendars
- A4 photo calendars

11. Contrado
As the parent brand of Bags Of Love, Contrado’s product catalog is similar to BOL’s but sometimes I feel BOL has more to offer. But if you fancied BOL but want fast shipping within the US (1-2 days), Contrado should be your go-to.
For calendars, Contrado has the same exact products as BOL, though they’re priced slightly higher (in USD). When designing your calendars, choose between three different grid designs and pick your own starting month.
The desk calendars offer something different as it’s made using a luxurious 4.72oz satin paper that’s attached to a cardboard for extra durability. But don’t worry, their wall calendars are also made with a sturdy backboard and gloss printed cover (so it’s not easily damaged).

Lulu is known for their selection of print on demand books which includes comic books and even children’s books! They’re quite straightforward with their services but I love that the site is packed with resources to help you out including step-by-step guides (link below) and a pricing calculator that shows the total cost you’ll pay.
For calendars, you can design a 12-month or 18-month landscape ones with Lulu. There isn’t much customization options but instead of going with their ready grid designs, you can upload one you’ve designed from scratch.
Just make sure to download their calendar templates before making your designs!
You can also include national holidays and add your own events to the dates – which is pretty sweet if you’re someone who loves writing on your calendars but want to make it a bit less messy.
Lulu ships worldwide and offers six types of shipping for calendar orders to the USA starting from $4.94 per unit. You can check shipping options and rates using the pricing calculator I’ve linked above.

Calendars sold on SmartPress are quite similar to the ones on VistaPrint. They also offer some comparable products which includes a great range of marketing materials, signages, invitations and booklets.
SmartPress requires a minimum ordering quantity of 50 or 100 units depending on the type of calendar you’re going for. You can order different “versions” of the calendar to meet the MOQ by clicking on “add versions” under the quantity box and uploading multiple artwork files.
If you’re feeling unsure about your order, you can go through the free PDF soft proof within 1-2 business days or pay extra for a printed hard proof that will be shipped to you. Choose between the 2/3/4 days of production time that will only start once you approve the proof.

14. HelloPrint
Based in UK or Europe and looking to order big quantities of calendars without paying too much for shipping? HelloPrint is the best choice for you. They have a selection of wall, desk and folded calendars that can be customized with a minimum order of 1 unit.
It’s kinda bizarre but HelloPrint’s tiered bulk discounts is a lot – ordering 250 units of their wall calendars will get you a discount of 88% off the original price you would pay if you were to buy just one unit.
There are few other things you can customize including the calendar size, paper material, printing orientation and whether you want to include a front cover (for an additional price). HelloPrint also integrates with Canva to let you design directly on their website but using Canva’s ready calendar templates.
You can access their nine different websites that are catered for nine countries – this includes Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom. Find the links in HelloPrint’s main homepage here and you’ll get to pay in the currency that you prefer.

Photobook America is probably better known for their photobooks but you’d be surprised that there are many more products you can customize on their site and it’s not just limited to paper products. You can design signages, party gifts, apparels, home decor and even pet products.
There are also multiple options for custom calendars which includes magnetic calendars and calendar cards. The calendar cards are quite similar to the vertical desk calendars offered on Printify as it comes with a wooden stand.
However, unlike Printify, Photobook allows you to choose the orientation of the prints (portrait or landscape), the starting month (up to 2 years from now) and customize ready templates where you’ll only need to upload your own photos.
