Confused what kind of yoga mat is best? Printify has two types for you to choose from, which are foam yoga mat and rubber yoga mat. Both are lightweight with anti-slip bottoms but made of different materials to match different preferences.
Elder people have a higher tendency to go for foam yoga mat as the memory foam microfiber provides better cushion and support. So it’s all up to you on which market you’re targeting for.
I love that Printify has its subscription plan for sellers to enjoy greater savings with each order. You can get 23% off the cost of rubber yoga mat with the plan. Of course, it’s only advisable to get it once you’re able to make enough profit to cover the monthly subscription cost.

Printful’s yoga mat is the same as Printify’s rubber yoga mat – as both comes in 24″ x 68″, built with a black bottom and a soft suede top.
It is priced a little higher that Printify’s and you’re only able to get 10% off with the Printful Growth subscription (instead of 23% with Printify Premium). This isn’t the case for some products but you can find more details on how I would compare Printify and Printful prices.
Aside from considering the prices, you may also want to take into consideration the product quality, printing quality and shipping charges. With Printful, you can find reviews from other customers and sellers on the product page itself.
Here’s a sample of a product template I created with Printful’s yoga mat. I uploaded a seamless pattern design I got from Creative Fabrica and used Printful’s pattern function to repeat the pattern all over the printed yoga mat.

If you’re looking for UK-based fulfillment, Prodigi is a great option to look into! They only have a single type of rubber yoga mat to offer but great thing is – it’s slightly bigger than Printify’s rubber yoga mat.
Prodigi has a production time of 2 days for yoga mats which is faster than Printify’s average 2.33 days. These little details matter when you’re selling internationally.
Although the website does not integrate seamlessly with some platforms, you’re able to upload bulk orders manually. This allows you to save so much time once orders start kicking in.

I love that Fine Art America allows customers to scale a seller’s image to their liking – you can see a sample below. Images are still crystal clear even after scaling and you can switch the orientation from horizontal to vertical (vice versa) to get a real idea of the yoga mat you’re buying.
Selling price is pretty reasonable at $60 each and there’s an option for customers to pay in installments. There are huge benefits to selling on FAA including getting your products sold at a physical store – check out the pros and cons here.
Joining print on demand marketplaces like Redbubble or FAA is a fast way for individuals to start selling their designs, all while having a full time job. You don’t need to integrate any ecommerce store like Shopify and listing your designs takes just a few minutes.

Looking for a luxurious yoga mat? Contrado has it! You can choose between 6 colors for the binding trims and add-on satin bag gift wrap for a price. I like the extra personalization it offers, it’s perfect for own use and when choosing the right colors for gifting your loved ones.
Price is definitely on the high side but the yoga mats are made of eco-friendly materials with a thick anti-slip padded base. There are wholesale discounts you can enjoy with purchasing more.
The yoga mat is however slightly shorter compared to yoga mats on Prodigi or FAA – by less than 2 inches. Keep that in mind!

An interesting POD site I’ve always admired is Bags Of Love. There are unique products including high top espadrilles and photo collage rugs.
Their custom yoga mats are just equally great with thick padding for extra cushioning – you’ll be convinced just by looking at their product photos. The bottom is not the normal black color rubber! It also comes with a carrying strap your customers are sure to love.
Bags Of Love is a brand under Contrado hence, you’ll get to choose the yoga mat trim colors too. While Contrado displays prices in USD, Bags Of Love quotes them in GBP (British Pounds). It should be your main option if you’re selling primarily in the UK instead of the USA.

If you’re looking to sell on POD marketplaces like Redbubble but they don’t offer yoga mats, you should check out Zazzle. I like that sellers can offer the same designs in few different colors and customers can choose one to their liking – see sample below.
You can also personalize the product to include your name, I’ve tried placing mine! The yoga mats are reasonably priced and in similar range with FAA’s pricing. Zazzle also offers payments via installments which should encourage easier purchase among your customers.

Some of the best minimalist yet chic designs can be found on Society6. I would love to buy everything myself! It’s a marketplace that works similarly as Redbubble, Teespring and Zazzle. However, unlike others, not all products can be shipped to outside the USA – including their yoga mats.
Their yoga mats are lightweight compared to others in this list – at only 3.6lbs (most are 5lbs). This makes it super convenient to carry around with the strap that comes together. Similar to Bags Of Love, the bottom is in white and not the usual black rubber lining.

I like that they provide downloadable PSD and JPG templates for each product to ensure you design accurately according to the dimensions. Templates are very useful especially for slightly complicated products like leggings and shoes.

Don’t fancy the normal roll-up rubber yoga mats? You can design yoga mat towels instead with Printed Mint. They’re the only fulfillment offering towel-like alternatives and for a much cheaper cost price at $19.50 per unit.
I think it’s a lot easier and lighter to carry around as you can easily fold it to fit a bag or a large sized handbag. Would also consider it since I do not prefer having my yoga mats rolled up and standing in a corner of a room – picture down below of my current situation.
Printed Mint is one of the suppliers for Printify for a lot of their products including dog clothing and candles. However, the yoga mat towels are not available on Printify!

Don’t mind sourcing your products from overseas? JetPrint has a nice catalog to offer, including athletic sneakers to complete your wellness shop. Although it takes longer for your customers to receive their orders, prices are a lot cheaper than other fulfillment companies.
You can definitely save a lot more by using overseas fulfillment and managing your customer’s expectations from the very start. Most would not even worry about their orders if informed beforehand on average shipping times.
JetPrint’s yoga mats are lighter than Society6’s, at only 2.82lbs! It’s the only one in this list that comes with a durable suede top for the perfect balance of comfort and support.

If you didn’t know, Pixels and Pixels On Demand are basically brands under Fine Art America. Their web layout and product catalog is almost identical. The different brands are meant to serve different target markets but they’re both the same regardless of which works better for you.
The yoga mat designs you see on Fine Art America are sold on Pixels as well. It’s great to know that by joining Fine Art America, you’re also selling your designs on another two platforms.
Looking to expand beyond the marketplace? The optional Pixel Pro Membership allows you to sell your art on Shopify, Instagram Merchandise and YouTube Merchandise. You’ll also get to white-label the same products by selling them in your own ecommerce website.

I hope I saved the best for last! Want to lower your product costs? InkPOD is the best option to go for. Their yoga mats are only $16.89 per unit and if you’re able to sell at the market price of $60, you will have a gross profit of about $43.11 (excluding fees).
That’s almost 75% gross profit! The only downside is orders are shipped from overseas and you may need to charge a higher price to cover the expensive shipping charges (to the USA). This is only applicable to yoga mats as they’re heavier than most print on demand products.
Similar to JetPrint, InkPOD’s yoga mats are made of suede material for extra comfort. There’s also PSD design templates for you to download.

How To Make Print On Demand Yoga Mats
- Choose a niche for your designs
- Niching down is great to attract the right audience with your yoga mat designs
- Some examples would be yoga mats designed with food, abstract drawing or even funny quotes on exercising
- Focus on your chosen niche for the next 100 designs!
- Do research on best selling and trendy designs
- Before making any designs, find out what’s working in the market
- A quick trick is to Google or search for them on Etsy
- Or use keyword research tools like Sale Samurai or Marmalead
- Make your own designs or outsource
- You can make your own designs using Kittl or Canva
- If you want to buy designs, get them on Creative Fabrica or Envato Elements
- Some important things to know are design file sizes and printing layout (if any)
- Sign up for an account with any of the sites I’ve listed above
- You’ll have to create an account with one of the sites I’ve mentioned above to start selling
- Choose one supplier that resonates to you the most with the right products you’ve envisioned for your yoga mat business
- Upload designs to products
- Uploading designs to supplier’s products is super easy and you should be able to do this once an account is created
- Position the design correctly when uploading as the actual product will look the same as what you see online
- Set a suitable profit margin for each product
- On most sites, you should be able to set a selling price once you’ve done uploading the design
- A suitable margin should be 40%-50% depending on the platform you’re selling on and any fees you’ll incur on each sale
- This excludes shipping charges to customers!
- Sync them to your ecommerce store
- You would need to integrate your ecommerce store e.g. Etsy or Shopify before you’re able to sell so do that first
- Sync the ready product to your store to start selling them publicly
