15 Best Sites For Print On Demand Home Decor
1. Printify
Thanks to their broad network of printing partners, Printify gets to offer a wide range of products at reasonable prices. They have a separate category for home decor and an assortment of items that can decorate a home.
Some rare print on demand items you can find on their site are lamp shades, bean bag chair covers, wall clocks and laundry bags.
Here’s a sample of Printify’s tripod lamp I created using a seamless pattern design I downloaded from Creative Fabrica. I only had to upload the image, make it a pattern using Printify’s pattern tool and scaled it however I liked.

2. Printful
Always second to Printify in my list, Printful is among the popular POD sites to join. They have lesser products but better quality printing that comes with slightly premium pricing. Their home decor section is worth checking out.
You can read about Printful’s differences against Printify here in another article I wrote (a lot of people don’t know about it!). They offer a lot more integrations compared to others in this list so there’s definitely plus points to using Printful for your biz.
Here’s a sample of a Printful coaster I created using one of their clipart. It’s totally free and you can further customize each element to your liking e.g. change its colors etc.

3. Prodigi
There’s a wide range of print on demand products you can find on Prodigi and they’re fully white-labeled – some you can’t find on Printify or Printful! As a new seller, you can order Prodigi’s sample pack FOR FREE that includes some of their best paper products in smaller formats.
Although Prodigi doesn’t integrate well for some marketplaces, they have guides and walkthroughs on how to process orders manually with CSV bulk order upload.

4. Gooten
Looking to make your own stool? Gooten allows you to print on ottomans. There’s categories for outdoor living, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. I find their acrylic blocks pretty interesting for displaying mementos in the living room or for gifting others.
They also offer tailored solutions for businesses looking to scale printing operations. Even if you don’t own a full-fledged business, Gooten can work for you too.

5. Redbubble
My first sale with print on demand was with Redbubble and it was for cushion covers! A customer had purchased 3 cushion covers with different designs on it but they were all in the same niche.
Redbubble is the easiest to start especially for those looking to build a side hustle as it does not require a separate store to sell. All sales happen on Redbubble’s own marketplace and it takes just minutes to upload a design to numerous products.
Don’t you think their wall clocks are pretty cool? I highly recommend designing these for children’s room.

6. CafePress
One of the oldest print on demand sites is CafePress. They have a whole category dedicated to home decor including seasonal decor for occasions like Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Seasonal sales can be incredibly lucrative!
I’m not a big fan of their site due to the dated feel and thumbnail images are not the best. CafePress only ships to 26 countries so that’s a major drawback too.
You can find a video at the end of this post on researching seasonal trends and turning them into sellable print on demand designs.

7. Zazzle
Similar to CafePress, Zazzle has a long list of home decor products you can sell – including decorative tiles! As an artist, you can make more money with the site by promoting your own products and getting commission for any sales that happens via your link.
The site is pretty confusing for beginners but you should get used to it with time. Even if you’re not looking to sell these products at first, you can make custom printed homeware products on Zazzle and order them for your own use.

8. Threadless
A thing that caught my eye on Threadless is their new category for premium rugs and all-over-print sherpa blankets. Although slightly expensive, premium products can go a long way with great copywriting as I believe some are willing to pay a higher price given better quality.
Not everyone likes to spend on cheap things! As a consumer myself, I always prioritize quality instead of quantity for most of my purchases.
Threadless works similar to Redbubble and if you’re not interested in setting up a separate ecommerce store and prefer selling on a marketplace, consider these sites!

9. Society6
Another site that I love and wish to spend all my money on is Society6. They have great designs made by real artists and unique home decor products you can’t find anywhere else on this list.
Though amazing for customers, it’s not the best option for sellers – as commissions are mostly fixed to 10%, excluding wall art and canvas prints.
You can find my list of pros and cons for Society6 here to see if it’s suitable for you.

10. Fine Art America
There aren’t many home decor options you can find on Fine Art America but it’s still a great site to consider. If you hadn’t known, Pixels and Pixels On Demand are rebranded versions of FAA catered to different target markets (international ones).
You definitely can tap on a wider market by selling your designs on FAA’s home decor products. They also have few interesting things to offer including having your products in physical stores – check here.

11. Contrado
Looking for a UK-based fulfillment company? Contrado ships orders mainly from the UK. There’s definitely plus points to working with a company based in your country. One of them is cheaper shipping and shorter delivery times – if you’re selling mainly to people living in the same country.
There’s a lot of products to choose from on Contrado. My best tip is to try your best-selling designs on all home decor products, if time permits. This way, you can narrow down better on what works. Niching down on designs will also make things easier!

12. Teelaunch
Tired of the normal canvas prints? Teelaunch has a few wall art options you should consider for your print on demand home decor business. This includes die-cut metal signs (rare!) and wall flags made of 100% polyester knit. Teelaunch also has kitchenware allowing you to sell print on demand plates.
The die-cut metal signs are great on walls for home offices, kitchen decoration and even hallways. They are made of powder coated steel and come in 5 colors including shocking red.
Most products on Teelaunch are printed and shipped from the USA – but not everything can be shipped outside of the country.

13. Merchize
I try my best to recommend sites that ship mainly from the USA, UK and Europe. However, there are some fulfillment companies based in parts of Asia and sometimes China which I believe my readers should consider.
Merchize is based primarily in Vietnam and ships most of their orders from the country. They have great home decor products for you to sell including rugs, candles and doormats.
Of course, when starting out, it’s always best to choose a fulfillment company that’s based in your country or where most of your customers are located.

14. MWW On Demand
If you didn’t know, MWW On Demand is one of the printing partners you can work with on Printify. It’s possible to source their products directly from their site itself but it limits you to sell only the items they offer compared to a handful of partners via Printify.
There isn’t a lot of complete info you can find on the site but they have quite a range of home decor items!

15. CustomCat
I like CustomCat for its ease of use, you can see it just from browsing the homepage. They have a comprehensive blog section too with FAQs, tutorials and selling guidelines for artists.
Their home decor products are pretty limited but I find the prices to be competitive when comparing against others. Print on demand ornaments for Christmas come in 4 shapes and are priced as low as $3.75!

- Uploading designs to supplier’s products is super easy and you should be able to do this once an account is created
- Position the design correctly when uploading as the actual product will look the same as what you see online
- Set a suitable profit margin for each product
- On most sites, you should be able to set a selling price once you’ve done uploading the design
- A suitable margin should be 40%-50% depending on the platform you’re selling on and any fees you’ll incur on each sale

- You would need to integrate your ecommerce store e.g. Etsy or Shopify before you’re able to sell so do that first

- Start selling and repeat!
- Repeat the process and you’ll get some sales with time!
- Increase your chances of success by uploading more quality designs and bringing in traffic to your store with ads (if you’re not selling on a marketplace)
7 Things To Know Before Selling Home Decor Online
- Depending on your target market, seasonal home decorations can bring in a lot of revenue during peak time of the year
- To diversify your sales, focus on non-seasonal products too
- Selling breakable items like glassware increases the risk of damage during delivery which would affect your sales and return rates – though items are well packed!
- Not all products can be shipped internationally e.g. big rugs or furniture like chairs
- Shipping charges may be quite high for larger products and reduces chances of online sales
- Avoid using white color within your designs as it may not have an effect when printed – most of these products are only available in white color base
- Check the product’s design guidelines before making as most will need larger dimensions for clearer printing quality
