11 Print On Demand Tumblers Fulfillment
1. Printify
If you’re looking to place designs on a wide range of tumblers, Printify has the best catalog for you. Compared to others in this list, Printify has at least 36 kinds of tumblers and bottles – does not include other drinkware.
I would also recommend Printify to new beginners thanks to their catalog and competitive prices – check out my pricing analysis against Printful here. There’s quite a list of ecommerce integrations you can use with Printify if you decide to expand your biz in the future – see below.
Here’s a sample of a Printify tumbler I created using a design downloaded on Creative Fabrica (you can find some best selling tumbler designs there!). I simply uploaded the image, scaled it to achieve high resolution and used Printify’s pattern function to make the design repeat all over the tumbler.
A perfect gift for book lovers that also loves iced coffee!

2. Printful
There’s only eight types of drinkware available on Printful including mugs, bottles and tumblers. Their 20oz stainless steel tumbler comes in black and white, with protective matte finishing. Price is similar to Printify’s unless you get Printify Premium subscription then you’ll save about 23% in cost price.
Your design will be printed around to cover the whole area end-to-end. Package will include a lid and a reusable metal straw – as seen in the picture below. Tumblers are one of the best eco-friendly POD products you can sell!
Here’s a sample of a Printful tumbler I created using their quick designs. No design was uploaded on my side, I simply chose one of the ready-made designs in Printful’s library (left side bar) and customized the colors to my liking.
I went with the black color 20oz tumbler as it’s quite trendy nowadays. People love dark colors!

3. Gelato
If you like using Printify, you might like using Gelato as well. Just like the former, they fulfill products in multiple locations all over the world and you can easily see this info when browsing their catalog.
Gelato only has print on demand travel mugs to offer. Although their normal mugs are fulfilled in almost 18 countries, their travel mugs (aka tumbler) is only made and shipped from 5 countries. Gelato’s 15oz tumbler is slightly cheaper than Printify’s selection (at normal price).

4. Gooten
Gooten has a few tumblers to offer including viking tumblers and print on demand can coolers. Their viking tumblers are cute as they come in five chic colors and matte finishing. The double insulation would keep drinks hot or cold for hours!
Although it’s free to sign up for a seller account with Gooten, it is not recommended for beginners. They require you to fill up a form stating your experience with print on demand and whether you already have a shop ready for sales. Gooten looks to only approve those with some prior experience in POD.

5. Prodigi
Metal travel mugs or tumblers are versatile and ideal for both hot and cold drinks. Prodigi’s metal tumbler comes with a handle built together with the lid so your customers can carry drinks easily from the top.
When printing on metal products, fulfillments would need to add a white layer before the final print to ensure colors turn out as the original design. You would be glad to know Prodigi does the same!
If this is your first time hearing of Prodigi, try ordering their sample pack of paper products and see if you like the quality.

6. Threadless
If you’re a beginner to print on demand, selling on POD marketplaces like Threadless is an easy way to start your side hustle. You’ll only need to sign up for an account, upload designs and wait for sales as it happens all in a single site.
Designs on Threadless are quite quirky and eccentric, so if that’s something you’re majoring in, take your best shot! Just like Gelato, Threadless’ travel mugs come in one size only (15oz) and can be used for drinks of any heat.

7. Redbubble
One of the more popular marketplaces for POD tumblers is Redbubble. I’ve also started my print on demand journey with this fulfillment company. I love it as it is super easy to upload a design to multiple products at once.
For a 15oz tumbler, prices on Redbubble and Threadless are almost the same. One thing to note is Redbubble’s tumbler is dishwasher-safe (top rack) while Threadless’ can only be hand-washed. A 15oz tumbler is a safer bet against other sizes as it can fit well in most standard car cup holders.

8. Society6
Selling price of tumblers on Society6 isn’t so far-fetched from the ones on Redbubble or Threadless. Customers can also make a purchase using 4 interest-free installments if they prefer it that way. Society6 only sells 20oz tumblers so it’s definitely a huge bang for one’s buck.
Compared to the two marketplaces before, their travel mugs come with a clear plastic lid (so you can see what’s in it). Using stainless steel drinkware is both lightweight and durable for long lasting use.
I personally like that Society6 lets customers arrange for a return within 60 days from delivery date so they would hesitate less when buying (I would!). If you’re into hippie cute and cheerful designs, Society6 is for you!

9. Zazzle
Love the idea of selling on a marketplace? But don’t want to sell generic designs? Zazzle is the right place for you. Zazzle is one of the marketplaces that allows personalization of products (not just tumblers). I also find that they have a wider selection of items within a category compared to Redbubble or Society6.
As seen in the picture below, you can offer multiple color choices within a single product listing. You can also allow customers to personalize some parts of the product design by uploading a picture or including text. These can be done at no extra cost to the customer.
The sample I’ve done is fitting for a small business that’s looking to make their own merchandise without ordering in large quantities. Perfect for solopreneurs (like me) or a team of five!

10. Printed Mint
There are two types of tumblers you can sell with Printed Mint – a 30oz tumbler and a 16oz thermal tumbler. Their 30oz tumblers are only $16.50 which is way cheaper than Printify or Printful for the size.
If you didn’t know, Printed Mint is one of the suppliers on Printify. However, not all their products can be found on Printify’s catalog. So, if you want to sell their tumblers, you’ll have to source it directly from their website.
I like that they offer custom packaging which is different from others. Aside from the usual product labels and marketing cards, Printed Mint lets you customize colors of crinkle paper (that goes into a box) and ribbon styles.

- Ceramic mugs
- Tumblers
- Sippy cups

11. Bags Of Love
If you’re based in the UK or looking for a POD company that uses GBP (British Pounds) as their main currency, then Bags Of Love is for you. Although their prices are quite expensive, printing quality is superb and shipping times are fast (for the UK).
You can choose between designing a 450ml flask or a 400ml printed travel mug. Sell directly on Bags Of Love and avoid the hassle of setting up a standalone ecommerce store.
I don’t recommend using BOL if you’re selling outside the UK as delivery fees are very expensive. You can check out their parent company, Contrado, that operates in USD (but based in UK still).
Types of drinkware you can design:
- Ceramic mugs
- Thermal mugs
- Photo collage mugs
- Heat changing mugs

5 Things To Consider For Print On Demand Tumblers
Even if you’re making plain straightforward tumblers, there are things to consider to give the best product experience to your customers. As a beginner, you might want to skip this part if it overcomplicates your thoughts – in no way should they deter you from starting the business of your dreams.
Some of these factors can also be considered for other POD drinkware like mugs or water bottles.
1. Simple text designs for nicer printing
Unless you want to make an all over printing tumbler, designs for tumblers should be clean cut, preferably typography with little to no graphics. This does not only make your life easier but the printing will be nicer.
Companies use laser engraving on steel and hard plastic tumblers, compared to normal printing for other print on demand products.
2. Think of gifting as your end goal
I know a business is about the journey, not the destination. But without the right goals, you might be swayed from what you actually want to achieve. Make designs for tumblers with gifting as your purpose or end goal, it’s one of the keys of success!
Decide if your design is something someone would purchase for their family or friend or lover. Your chances of sales and repeated purchases are greater!
3. Product personalization for stronger buying intent
Mugs and even tumblers can be personal items for someone. In my household, I have my own tumbler which no one else will use, vice versa. Alongside gifting, you might want to offer personalization for the tumblers.
Enable the personalization feature on both your Printify dashboard and your Etsy shop (best place to sell tumblers). Even if you set automatic processing, you’ll have to manually confirm orders for products with personalization – it will appear with a blue icon on your Printify dashboard.
4. Type of material and dishwasher safe
Tumblers come in varying sizes and are made of different materials – not all tumblers on Printify are BPA free. On the other hand, some customers will prefer steel tumblers while others prefer plastic ones.
Not all are microwave safe (you can’t reheat a coffee gone cold) and most on Printify are not dishwasher safe including the 30oz ringneck – the 20oz tumbler is an exception.
5. All over printing of artwork on tumblers
It’s important to know that Printify doesn’t offer all-over-printing (AOP) for tumblers. Designs will be placed in the middle and won’t start end to end or stretch from top to bottom – this may look awkward for some of your designs especially if they’re not transparent.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
The average size of a skinny tumbler is 20oz as it is sleek in design. Print on demand skinny tumblers are currently in trend and more preferred among younger people for its size. It is convenient to carry on the go making it the perfect tumbler for indoor and outdoor uses.
You can design and sell print on demand tumblers with a straw. Some bottles are built with a straw attached while some are sold detached. Printify has few choices of tumblers with straws, this includes their suave acrylic cup, plastic tumbler with straw and the mason jar.
Print on demand glass tumblers are quite difficult to source. If you’re looking for sustainable options and don’t want to purchase plastic tumblers, you can consider double wall stainless steel tumblers on Printify or Gooten. They retain heat well and is much more durable!
Bottom Line
If you’re sourcing print on demand tumblers for dropshipping, the white-label POD sites I’ve recommended above are great options. Don’t go for marketplaces!
Printed tumblers is a lucrative business anyone can go into. You don’t need great designing skills to be selling six figures a year with tumblers. If you’re still unsure if print on demand is the side hustle for you, I wrote a separate post just for you – I’m confident you’ll change your mind.
