15 Print On Demand Jewelry Suppliers For Your Business
1. Printify
In most of my print on demand guides, Printify has the most choices of products to offer. However, it’s not the case for jewelry. Regardless, I’ve still included it at the top of my list because its the easiest for beginners to use.
Aside from competitive prices, Printify has a wide range of products you can leverage on. Consider selling the necklace below with other kinds of accessories like hats, tie dye t-shirts or bags. Cross selling different products work too!
Once you’re ready to scale your biz, I suggest subscribing to Printify Premium for savings up to 23% across their entire catalog (prices in green). You can understand more on Printify’s pricing here.
Here’s a sample of a Printify necklace I created using a simple font design I downloaded from Creative Fabrica. All I did was upload the image file, scaled it to position in the center within the lines and done!
You can sell these simple print on demand jewelry on Shopify! I’ve made a simple guide down below.

One of the best print on demand jewelry suppliers for USA is ShineOn. They integrate with both Etsy and Shopify so you can have the best of both worlds. Regardless where you’re selling, their products give you a high margin as these jewelries are meant for gifting others!
Compared to other POD products and other kinds of jewelry design I’ve listed in this list, designing a product with ShineOn is super easy. Instead of focusing on making a design to be printed on the jewelry itself, you’re focusing more on the gift card behind it.
Put some nice quotes and give it a nice background, you’re good to go! Apart from printing jewelry on demand, ShineOn also sells watches using the same concept.

Most of Prodigi’s products are made in the UK and shipped worldwide. If you have your own physical shop or pop ups, consider ordering in bulk and buying at wholesale prices (from £5.00 each!).

Contrado is another UK-based print on demand company that offers unique products – you can also use them for print on demand jewelry in Europe. Some of my favorite products from them include dresses, rugs and home decor.
For jewelry, you can design wooden necklaces and print on demand jewelry boxes with Contrado. Jewelry boxes make a great gift for family and close friends. I tend to keep mine forever!
Wooden necklaces are easier to print compared to metal ones as the design goes all over the product. They make a chic accessory for someone who loves everything boho.

Love Contrado’s jewelry but want to operate your biz using GBP (British Pounds)? Consider using their other brand, Bags Of Love.
Most products are similar between the two sites with a wider selection on BOL compared to their parent site. They also have sterling silver necklaces and earrings you can place your designs on! Both these two products come with a personalized heart-shaped metal gift box.
Contrado and BOL uses the same integration for Shopify which is via Contrado’s app. You can sell your products on these two marketplaces as a designer, if you don’t plan to open a Shopify store of your own.

Once you’ve uploaded a design, you can allow customers to personalize some parts of the product. This includes adding their own picture and keying in their names or initials to be printed. Sample down below!
As a designer, you can earn more with Zazzle by promoting your own products as an affiliate (their associate program). You’ll earn a commission for every sale made via your link.

Merchize’s print on demand name necklace can be customed for names, icons or dates and the silver product comes in three colors. Necklaces makes great gifts for family and friends on special occasions – hence why engraving dates is a good business idea!

Using fulfillments that source printing directly from China can have its own set of benefits. This includes having a variety of products you can design on. Inkedjoy is one of them!
Similar to Contrado, they have all-over-print wooden earrings in round and heart shapes. You can sell your designs on these or order them for yourself. Production takes up to 5 days and shipping to the USA takes another 8-15 days.
Inkedjoy’s alloy necklaces come in both gold and silver. Aside from jewelry, I’ve written on their interesting range of bags, shoes and rugs.

Looking to make bracelets instead of earrings? Awkward Styles have sports themed ones. These beaded bracelets are basic in black but it comes with a single unique sports bead – list down below.
Custom jewelry on Awkward Styles is similar to the ones on ShineOn where you mostly design the cards attached in the box. There isn’t much to design within the jewelry itself. For me, it means less work but higher margin!
The site also offers a subscription plan to upgrade to that allows you to enjoy discounts for every order – quite alike to Printify Premium.

Huge POD’s prices are cheap as it is but buying more than 100 pieces will give you 20% off! There’s 19 base colors to choose from so you don’t have to make 19 design variations of your own. Make one universal design and place on these 19 colors instead.

There are four types of custom jewelry to design on Teelaunch including basic custom name necklaces. They also have special necklaces catered for dog lovers and sports lovers. These two come with special cutout icons right next to the names which are super cute!

12. CafePress
Other than Printify, making your own custom jewelry boxes is possible with CafePress. They’re a POD marketplace so you won’t have to set up a separate ecommerce store to sell on. Selling on their website is enough!
Cool thing about using CafePress is some products can be personalized by customers. Not as great as Zazzle’s personalization features but we’ll take it – sample down below. The jewelry box is made of hardwood and designs are printed on a ceramic tile inset.
The only downside is CafePress only ships to 26 countries (link down below) and accepts artists from the same countries. If you’re okay with designing and selling other products, check out my list of 13 print on demand marketplaces for beginners.

13. JetPrint
If you’re looking for something like ShineOn but on the cheaper side, JetPrint should be your go-to. There is a wide range of jewelry products you can design including boxes to keep these accessories.
JetPrint’s jewelry catalogue is far too big for me to include everything in the list below. So you’ll need to check them out yourself!
I personally love their jewelry boxes as you are able to design the openings and covers to include your own text.

14. DropShipCN
There’s only one type of necklace you can design on DropShipCN. It’s still worth mentioning the site in this list as they usually have a unique range of products to design.
Unlike most sites, DropShipCN provides free shipping service for all of their products. Similar to other Asian-based fulfillments, shipping may take awhile so I don’t recommend the site for newbies in print on demand – unless you’re ordering for yourself.

How to Sell Print On Demand Jewelry On Etsy
1. Choose a niche for your print on demand jewelry
Choosing a niche for jewelries should be quite straightforward as it is not the most general item out there. The main target market is usually women and a common purpose is gifting. This includes gifting yourself or gifting your loved ones.
It can be as simple as making jewelry meant for gifting our spouses. If you’re married, think of all the events you’re going to go through for the next 50 years with your significant other. Don’t you think they need a cute gift for it?
Zodiacs is a great niche to tap into! Did you know the $2.2bil astrology industry grew rapidly in 2020 when the whole world was in confusion?
2. Do research on what jewelry designs you should make
Head onto Etsy or Amazon and search for “necklace for wife” or “ring for husband”. See the best selling designs and analyze the colors they’re using, the fonts, clipart and what kind of product it is – e.g. pendant necklace or heart necklace.
Get inspired but never copy! A good design for jewelry is either all illustration or a mixture with typography.
3. Produce your own designs or outsource to others
Print on demand entrepreneurs either make their own designs or outsource to others (if they can afford to). It’s good to note that most people selling on Etsy are solopreneurs even if they don’t appear that way – a one man show doing everything A-Z.
Before designing, get the right design dimensions for every product. This differs for each item – heart shaped pendants, round shaped ones or square lockets.
I personally use Canva to make simple designs as it is super easy to use. Alternatively, if you can’t or don’t want to design yourself, consider outsourcing to freelance designers on Fiverr or Upwork.
4. Join a print on demand fulfillment of your choice
Not all print on demand companies offer the same products or personalization, especially for jewelry. Go through my recommendations above and decide which one resonates to you the most.
Work with one at a time to not feel overwhelmed!
5. Upload your designs & sync to ecommerce store
You should know which jewelry piece you’re going for before even making the design. Once your designs are ready, simply log into your dashboard and upload it to a jewelry product. Immediately sync the new product to your ecommerce store (Etsy or Shopify)!
Most of your design uploads will remain in draft mode within the fulfillment dashboard until you sync them to a storefront. If it is more efficient for you to sync them in bulk, you can do it on a weekly or monthly basis – it’s not necessary to do it consistently everyday.
6. Decide on a profit margin and set a price
Regardless where you’re selling, you should be free to set your own prices and decide a suitable margin. Since jewelry has a higher perceived value among consumers and is usually meant for gifting, charging a higher price might not affect your sales as much as you think.
A good starting profit margin is 50%, considering your time, any seller fees and advertising expenses to bring in traffic to your store. Don’t worry if you don’t make any sales in the beginning, lowering prices by setting seasonal promotions can do wonders too.
7. Create mockups for your jewelries to make it look real
Some of the best mockups are ones that really look real as if it’s on an actual person. Printify’s mockup for necklaces is actually pretty cool – I showed a sample above!
If you’re going with ShineOn’s jewelry gift card products, it makes more sense to use the straight mockup with words written clearly. Make it easy for your customers to read the quotes within a glance, avoid the tilted mockups – you don’t want customers to tilt their heads reading.
8. Repeat the process to build a collection of jewelry
Increase your rate of success by constantly creating new designs and uploading them to different products. Recycle winning designs on other jewelry and continue to scale that way.
It also helps to build credibility in the eyes of any customer if you have a huge collection of jewelry designs. This goes the same for any brick and mortar shop!
5 Things to Consider for Print On Demand Jewelry
1. Finding inspiration for quotes
Stuck with creating your own quote? You don’t have to crack your head. Head onto the cards section on Hallmark or even Pinterest to find amazing captions.
Whether it’s for a wife, a child or a friend, these platforms have the right ones to capture the heart. You should avoid copying by only drawing inspiration and making changes to make it your own.
2. Choosing color of product
The right colors can make a jewelry stand out. Whether you’re going for a gold or silver color jewelry, do some research on what kind of colors go well for each.
Get a rough idea on what sells best by analyzing ready designs others are selling. If you ask me, some of the best colors are black, red, white, turquoise and even emerald green – they really pop!
3. Eco-friendly packaging
Buyers are super conscious about creating carbon footprint today than ever before. There is a chance they will like your shop better if your products come in an eco-friendly packaging.
Research shows people are more inclined to buy just because of a brand’s eco-friendly initiatives and sometimes willing to spend more!
4. Hypoallergenic jewelry material
Are you a fan of jewelry yourself? If you are, then you should probably know that there’s a chance some jewelry will not make you feel the best when wearing – worse if it causes allergies.
Although hypoallergenic jewelry is a bit more expensive, always prioritize your customer’s safety and product experience. Printify makes it known that their jewelry is made of hypoallergenic material and is safe to use.
Read: Type of metals that are hypoallergenic
5. Type of closure to keep secure
Don’t you just hate it when your necklace or bangle falls off? The right kind of clasp closure can really improve your customer’s experience.
Clasp closures can affect how easy or difficult it is to put jewelry on and prevent from falling off when walking. Printify’s oval necklace is made with lobster clasp closure!
Personally, I don’t find them difficult to use as my fingers are medium sized. Experiences can differ for everyone!
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Print on demand jewelry companies such as Printify, Printful and ShineOn integrate well with Etsy. Orders are synced and can be fulfilled automatically. This avoids problems arising from manually syncing products. Processing orders is time consuming for sellers when sale volumes are high.

Bottom Line
Print on demand jewelry is still a severely untapped niche anyone can go into. The jewelry industry has a passionate audience and strong following due to its nature of gifting. People love to gift others they love!
Compared to leggings, print on demand jewelry is on the intermediate level – one I would suggest for new beginners that are brave to take up a challenge.
