13 Best Print On Demand Bandana Companies

1. Printify

Printify is usually the fulfillment I recommend to beginners in the POD world. Navigating the site is super easy and with just one account, you get to sell over 800 products across multiple stores e.g. Etsy and Shopify at any one time (integration options down below).

For bandanas, there are only pet ones for you to design on Printify. Pet bandanas are usually smaller in size so it might not be suitable for an adult to wear them. However, Printify offers them in three sizes so if you’re eager, you can still get the largest one for yourself.

If you don’t like tying bandanas and find it hard to put one on your pet, you can get the bandana that comes with a collar. Slightly more expensive but totally worth it as it’s hassle-free.

Here’s a sample of a Printify pet bandana collar I created using a design downloaded from Creative Fabrica. I searched for a cute dog seamless pattern design, scaled the image to a suitable size (high resolution) and used Printify’s pattern tool to make it repeat all over the product.

2. Printful

Another popular fulfillment to use is Printful. There are a lot of resources you can find online about using the platform including how-to tutorials and product reviews on YouTube.

Printful’s bandanas are listed as a single product but with multiple sizing options. If you’re looking for a pet bandana, make sure to get the smallest bandana size (S) as it’s meant for small pets.

Want to order one for yourself or for a big-sized pet? Choose between medium (M) or large (L). Compared to Printify, you can choose the thread colors (white/black/clear) when designing your bandana on Printful and add some text for a simple branding (for free!).

Here’s a sample of a Printful bandana I created using a Creative Fabrica design – inspired by my trips to Portugal!

3. Contrado

Looking to design a silk or satin bandana? You can do both on Contrado. Choose between a Pima Lawn material or 100% silk satin fabric when designing your product.

Similar to Printful, Contrado offers bandanas in three sizes – small, medium or large. The small one is meant for children while the medium and large one is best suited for adults (view their size chart before purchasing).

Silk satin bandanas look nicer for when you’re wearing over your head as it drapes nicely compared to polyester ones. Contrado’s custom bandanas are finished with a fine pin hem and weighs less than 0.5oz each.

4. Gooten

Planning to start an ecommerce store to sell printed bandanas and don’t plan to buy one for yourself? If you have a ready store to sell on, consider signing up with Gooten.

Unlike most, Gooten only approves sign-ups from individuals with past POD selling experience and if they have an existing ecommerce store. You also can only see their product prices by logging in to your account.

For bandanas, Gooten offers one type which is made of polyester and in a single size (a medium 24″x24″). Although there are two listings shown when you’re browsing their catalogue i.e. one for pet, one for adults, they’re both actually the same.

So make sure to do your research before deciding to sell them!

5. Redbubble

If you’re only interested in making some side income and don’t have the time to manage an ecommerce store, I recommend joining a print on demand marketplace like Redbubble.

Working with marketplaces is much more straightforward than using white-label fulfillments as you don’t need a separate store to sell your products on (no Etsy or Shopify). You can simply register for an artist account, upload your designs and start selling on the site’s marketplace.

They would do all the advertising for you and you would just receive the commissions from any sales you get.

Redbubble’s pet bandanas come in two sizes, small and large which I think is a perfect range if you’re just targeting smaller/bigger pets (and their owners). The product is made of 100% breathable polyester and printing is done on one side, leaving the other blank.

6. Zazzle

Another marketplace you can explore other than Redbubble is Zazzle. Personally, I find it a little difficult to navigate especially if you’re a complete POD beginner so you might want to test it out yourself.

The great thing is, unlike other marketplaces, Zazzle offers custom printing on a wide range of products and lets customers personalize their orders e.g. add their own designs.

Customers can easily browse the catalogue to see which design are available in different colors and can be personalized.

For bandanas, Zazzle has two polyester types just like Redbubble – but caters them to adults (22″x22″) and kids (18″x18″). You can still get these for your pets!

7. Spreadshirt

If you’re a new artist looking to start print on demand, Spreadshirt is another site I recommend joining. Each marketplace pays artists differently so you should check out my write-up on Spreadshirt here.

You should also be able to join multiple POD marketplaces at once and sell the same designs across as most sites have non-exclusive rights to your work. But always be sure to read first!

For bandanas, Spreadshirt only has them in one size (20″x20″) with the choice of white or black base color. The same bandana is sold for pets and the prices shown does not include printing costs.

Unlike others, Spreadshirt has a collection of designs you can use where some are free. But the paid ones are charged per design so adding multiple to one product will increase your overall cost. If you sell using paid designs, you would incur the fees for every sale you make.

8. Bags Of Love

If you’re looking for a UK-based print on demand company that offers premium bandanas like Contrado, you should head to Bags Of Love. They’re another brand under the Contrado group so products are alike on the two sites.

BOL has the usual bandanas (adults & kids) and dog bandanas for pets. Their pet bandanas are available in three sizes and fits most dog breeds. Just like their normal bandanas, the dog ones are made of either Pima Lawn cotton or real silk satin fabric – something premium for your lovely furry besties!

Unlike Contrado, BOL lets you create a collage bandana by using their ready collage templates and uploading multiple photos. You can also personalize your orders by adding text, initials or names.

9. HugePOD

Looking for a cheaper alternative to all the ones I’ve listed above? You may have to look at fulfillments that prints and ship orders from overseas like HugePOD.

HugePOD is known for their all over print services and offering a wide range of items that can be all over printed – which includes their bandanas. There are extra savings (20% off) to be made if you’re ordering more than 100 pieces so it’s a great option if you have a physical store.

To make things easier, HugePOD lets you choose the product base colors (19 options) and add your designs from there. I find this time-saving as you only need to make your designs in two main colors (white or black). A light-colored design is better for a dark background while a dark-colored design looks good on a light base color.

10. 99DIY

Don’t prefer the usual bandanas and want one that is multifunctional? Check out 99DIY’s multifunctional bandanas which looks like a neck gaiter. Neck gaiters are also part of the scarf category and can be used in multiple ways e.g. like a headwear.

If you’re comparing prices, 99DIY is much more cheaper than HugePOD and their estimated production time is faster as well. Shipping fee to the USA is about $4-$7 depending on the delivery service you go for.

Want the usual bandanas? It’s still cheaper to get them on 99DIY. Though they’re only available in large size, it can be used for both small and big pets – plus, your designs are printed on both sides!

11. Inkedjoy

Looking for a fulfillment based in China with factories in multiple countries? Inkedjoy is definitely an option.

Although there’s only a single type of all over printed bandana you can design, there is a wide range of products you can sell with them – including custom dog clothing! Similar to 99DIY, Inkedjoy’s bandanas should fit most pets – cats and dogs alike.

You can also use Inkedjoy’s profit calculator to estimate how much you’re able to make with each sale. Your gross profit margin should vary with the fees you’ll have to incur e.g. Etsy fees are different than Shopify’s but you’ll definitely spend more on advertisement for the latter.

12. Yoycol

Love the cheap prices but want to order from a fulfillment that offers bulk discounts for large purchases? Yoycol is one to offer – their bandanas are also much cheaper (over 50% lesser) than HugePOD and a lot bigger.

Yoycol’s bandanas are available in three sizes (unlike the three options I’ve listed prior) and thread colors can be black or white (automatically assigned based on your design). It’s made of the usual polyester with 3% spandex and can only be printed on one side.

When working with print on demand companies from overseas, it’s important to consider the time it takes for orders to arrive to your customer’s address (or yours). Delivery services with longer shipping times are generally cheaper but there’s also some risk to it.

It’s only wise to explore China-based fulfillments once you have enough experience managing customers’ expectations.

13. Teelaunch

Only want to work with a US-based print on demand company? Teelaunch is one that has long been in the industry. Most of their products are printed in different parts of the US and orders can be shipped internationally.

Just like Gooten, Teelaunch provides design templates for you to refer to. This is especially useful for sellers with a graphic design background (extra detailed) and those hiring graphic designers to make designs for them.

Unlike most, Teelaunch’s bandanas are triangular shaped and comes in one size (fits most). If you’re unsure whether it would fit your pet nicely, triangular bandanas are easier to manage as you don’t need to fold as many times to look good.
